Beavercreek Holding a Blood Drive

Spencer Hancock, Sports Section Editor

Beavercreek holds a blood drive every year where people can choose to give blood in order to help save other people’s lives. This blood drive is a great activity to be a part of if you are able.

Anyone above the age of 17 by March 5th is able to sign up. Younger students are not able to give blood at this event, but you will be able to do it in the future.

This blood drive can save lots of lives. Just one blood donation can save up to three lives. It is also important that all different types of people give blood because people have different blood types and so not everyone can use every type of blood. The type of blood you have is really important for what blood you can give and receive.

If you would like to sign up for the blood drive, sign ups are today, February 24th. It’s the last day you can sign up. If you give blood up to three times you can even get a red cord to wear at graduation. Make sure you bring an ID with your date of birth.

If you have any questions, talk to Cali Hess or any member of the student council. We’ll see you there.
