BHS Wrestlers Win Duel Meets

This weekend, the Beavercreek wrestling team took home first place in the Batavia dual meet. Competing in the meet were Campbell County, Tinora, Clermont Northeastern, Alexander, and Batavia. Beavercreek lost in the first round to Campbell County then beat all of their remaining opponents to win first place as a team. 

Riley Martin, Justin Weckler, Hayden Randolph, and Hunter Martin all defeated their respective opponents. Justin Weckler won in a 4-1 decision while the rest pinned their opponents for the victory. Riley Martin pinned in 3:29, Hayden Randolph in 2:31, and Hunter Martin in 1:47.

Beavercreek also won first place in the Wayne dual meet , 54-19. This victory was headlined by Cameron Mink, Tyler Hicks, and Colin Barhorst who all pinned their opponent in 3:01 or less. Cameron Mink pinned his opponent Isaiah Woodlum in a quick 1:48, Tyler Hicks in 2:22, and Colin Barhorst in 3:01. 

The Beavercreek varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams will now look forward to competing in the Lakota East Dual meet this Friday, January 29th, at Lakota East High School.
