Latest Covid Stimulus Package

This past Wednesday, the House passed a $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.  President Biden hopes to sign the bill Friday.  The bill is meant to help households in need of relief to get through the coming months with Covid-19.  While Democrats say households need this relief, many Republicans oppose it and say that it is too large for the moment.

If the relief package does get passed on Friday, it will include various proposals that include $300 per week to jobless aid supplement, a $1,400 direct payment to most Americans and their dependents, $20 billion into Covid-19 vaccine manufacturing and distribution, and more than $120 billion to K-12 schools.
