Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Do you need to get your hours in for your community service seal before graduation? Well, get some hours in this summer! There are plenty of opportunities for you to get those hours in.

First off, you can help senior citizens with their yard work on May 29. Another way is to volunteer at D.A.R.E. camp and be a counselor. Mrs. Hess, a science teacher at BHS, says, “ Other than that, we slow down volunteering in the summer.  We start back up in August and usually offer 4-20 hours a month in volunteer opportunities.”

If you need your hours by the time you graduate, starting it this summer may help you in the long run.
