A Cold Winter Coming Our Way

Caitlyn Russell, Student Reporter

Ohio winter this year is going to be colder than normal, and very icy and flakey with a harsh winter coming towards us. Farmers Almanac says that “ this winter especially will be with below-normal precipitation but above-normal snowfall, especially in the west.” The coldest time will occur in the middle to late November and through much of the period from the middle of December through January. December will greet us with snow and flurries coming towards Ohio, Michigan and the Kentucky area. The snowiest periods will arrive in the middle of December, and it will be a brutally cold holiday season and 2022 the snowiest period to start out our year will be early and middle January, and middle to late February. A little glimpse into our spring time next year, April and May will be much warmer than normal, with below-normal precipitation.
