Fun Winter Activities

Since this week is when December began, here are some places to visit –

 

Riverscape – Located by the Great Miami River. This is a great place to go ice skating for the community. It is open 24 hours a day. Costs 2 dollars for skate rentals, and a 6 dollar admission fee. Ages 3 and younger are free but need to be with a paying adult. There are events on December 4th, 5th, and 25th.

Land of Illusion – Located in Butler County, Ohio. An adventure water park during the summer and Christmas park during the winter. They’re open on Monday from 8am-5pm. The cost  per person is 8 dollars. Events included this year’s Christmas drive thru, Christmas village, the gift shop, petting zoo, and Santa’s workshop. Stop by and check it out!

Winter Fest, Kings Island – As we all know Kings Island is the place to go during the holidays. The location is in Mason, Ohio. The cost of tickets range from 12.99 to 29.99. The hours are from 5pm to 10pm. There are many activities like the Action Ice Zone, Candy Cane Lane, Charlie Brown’s Christmas Spectacular, and the WinterFest Snow Globe. Also don’t forget to check out the WinterFest Wonderland Parade! There will be more information coming to you next week.

Columbus Zoo – This winter the Columbus Zoo is doing Christmas lights. Tickets are $16.99 for children/seniors and $21.99 for adults. They are open from 10am-5pm, please remember these times may change. The Columbus Zoo is having a Christmas lighting called the Wildlights on December 3rd from 10am-9pm. As well as a Sensory Friendly Santa Experience on December 5th and 12th from 12pm-3pm. Go see some animals while you’re there!
