Beavercreek High School is in the winter spirit as we Beavers are celebrating the season of giving and donating, many of our clubs and organizations at the high school are holding fundraisers, drives, and donations, as the season gets colder and harsher,  Beavercreek Beavers are helping our community. Below is a list of clubs that are donating their time this season to help others.

First, is the BHS Network club which is donating to the Women’s Recovery Center, and The Hope Spot Recovery Center. The network club is calling this the hygiene drive, and it takes place throughout advisory during the weeks of November 28th to December 9th. Items that the club wishes people to donate include: body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine products, and more. To help encourage people to donate, the network club is giving the class that donates the most supplies will win Bill’s Donuts.

Next is Feed the Creek, which is not a school club but a community organization. Also during the weeks of November 28th to December 9th, Feed the Creek is asking their community to send any boxed food or canned food into any of Beavercreek’s 10 school buildings or Central Office or Transportation before December 9th. The food that is collected will be taken to Main Elementary by Dec 12th and Feed the Creek workers and volunteers will bags will be assembled to be distributed later that week.

Finally, Beavercreek High School’s Student Council is holding a gift basket raffle and will be selling tickets at lunch for $2 a ticket or $5 for every 3 tickets until December 9th. The Student Council put together three baskets any high schoolers can compete for, the basket’s themes include a winter wonderland basket that has all of your winter essentials, a movie-themed basket for the perfect movie night, and a food-themed basket, which includes gift cards, coupons, and merchandise to some Beavercreek’s favorite restaurants like Roosters, Crumbl cookie, Ritters.
