On March 1st, Beavercreek High School will host its annual blood drive. If you wish to participate, you must sign up quickly because there are a limited number of available spots. Signups will take place at lunch from February 1st to February 28th. If you are interested in signing up, bring a photo ID to the sign-up table. To donate you must be 17 or older by March 1st. As an extra incentive, every student who chooses to donate blood will receive a free t-shirt, as well as free food and drink during the event itself.

Additionally, all students are eligible to earn the red cord for graduation, which can be received by donating blood three times in your high school career. Best of all, by donating, you are supporting a noble cause. A single pint of blood can save up to three lives and roughly 6.5 million patients are helped by blood donations per year. If you want to be a part of something incredible, and allow yourself academically in the process, then be sure to sign up for BHS’s annual blood drive!
