The Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio has opened a new exhibit to celebrate their 100th anniversary. It features never seen before photos and citations about the Cold War. The Air Force Museum-which predates the Air Force itself by 24 years-opened in May of 1923 on the Mccook field after World War I.

The museum began as a display of plane engines and instruments and this attracted more people. People interested in aviation visited the museum and it only grew. Today, the museum has four hangars and hosted close to a million visitors pre Covid. Just this past month, a new plane was given to the museum; a F-15C was given in April and was prepped for inclusion in the Cold War Gallery.
