The Beavercreek Varsity Girls Softball team has managed to pull through a remarkable season. To recap, the team has won many games, likely due to the fact that the team’s batting and defense have both been consistently strong. The effectiveness of these two factors, which are the keys to success in softball, is a major reason for the girls softball team’s respectable performance this season. However, it is not the most important factor. According to Coach Megan Rawlins, one of the team’s greatest strengths has been how the team “has mastered cooperation”. This fact is likely the true reason for the team’s success. A softball team, regardless of batting or defending ability, cannot perform without adequate teamwork. Overall, the Girls Softball team has found incredible success this season, due in large part to the team’s miraculous teamwork on the field.
