The women’s volleyball team is starting this season off strong with a record of 4-2 in GWOC, with their only losses being against Springboro and Centerville. During last night’s game against Centerville, Beavercreek lost 3-1, only winning a set. Excluding Springboro and Centerville, all the other GWOC games the Beavers have won. This includes Miamisburg, Northmont, Wayne, and Fairmont. Keighan Bopp, a junior at Beavercreek High School, stated, “This season has been going very well so far! We have competed against some amazing teams, and we are improving each game!” This year, the team also has high goals and standards to meet. She mentioned, “The Beavercreek women’s volleyball program’s goals this year are to lift the team and carry the standard.” The volleyball team continues to make progress and develop as the season goes on. “Some things that have been going well include the way we persevere through adversity. As a team, we fight for each and every point. I really admire the amount of resilience that is on our team. While it is still early in the season, the team has made so much progress! GO CREEK!” Beavercreek’s next game is at home against Kenton Ridge tomorrow, starting at 11:15. Go and cheer on your team!
