Last Friday, September 19, the Beavers competed against the Miamisburg Vikings in the 2025 Homecoming game. Beavercreek came out triumphant with a final score of 21-19, marking the first Homecoming game we have won in years. With a record of 3-2, the Beavers have beaten Woodward, Northmont, and Miamisburg this season. Christian Sizemore, a junior and player for Beavercreek High School, stated about the Miamisburg game, “The team played their best hearts out, and gave it their all. That’s why we won. No one ever got complacent.” All the hard work and dedication the Beavers have put in this season have certainly paid off, as exemplified by their current record. Sizemore also stated what the team performed well during the Miamisburg game, “The team never gave up and kept putting pressure against Miamisburg. We also never stopped or took plays off.” Although Beavercreek is coming off this big win against Miamisburg last Friday, and winning 34-0 against Northmont the week prior, the team must start preparing for their next match against the Centerville Elks. Sizemore mentioned what needs to be improved on heading into this Friday: “To have confidence going into it and to execute what we know and what we have been doing. We are not the same Beavercreek. Go Beavers!” The last time Beavercreek competed against Centerville was during the previous season, on November 1, 2024, losing with a score of 42-0. The Beavers certainly have a lot to prove going into Friday’s game and will not go down without a fight. Go and support your team on September 26, at 7:00, at Centerville High School!
