On Saturday, October 20th, the men and women’s varsity teams competed at the OHSAA Southwest District XC Championships. Both teams did amazing and ended up qualifying for regionals race. The women’s team finished first out of 18 teams. The team was led by junior Taylor Ewert, who finished first overall with a time of 17:14.0. She ran so fast that the next runner, Savannah Roark, who is also from Beavercreek, finished over a minute after her with a time of 18:32.4. The men’s team finished fourth out of 26 teams. The team was led by senior Riley Bucholz, who ran a time 16:07.7.

The next race is Regionals and it is on Saturday 27th at Troy High School.
