On Tuesday, October 30th, the Beavercreek Varsity Women’s soccer team played Mount Notre Dame in the regional semifinals. At the time Beavercreek was ranked 2nd in the nation. Beavercreek had a slow start and didn’t score until 65 minutes into the game. Both goals scored were made by junior Marcella Cash. The final score was 2-0. Because of the win, Beavercreek advanced to the Regional Finals. They will be playing Mason on Saturday, November 3rd. The game will be at the Monroe Jr./Sr. High School stadium at 7:00 pm. If the Beavers make it past the semifinals, they will play in the State Semifinals on November 6th. After that, the State Championship will be on November 9th. Mark your calendars and come cheer on your fellow Beavers! Good luck, ladies!
