This Saturday, November 10, the women’s cross country team will be competing for the state championship at the National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio. The top 7 girls from the team will be competing, including Taylor Ewert, the women’s team’s top runner. The men’s team will not be competing at state because they did not qualify.

State was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd, but complications with planning and weather forced the meet to be rescheduled to this weekend, Saturday, November 10th. A decent amount of the cross country team is going to Hebron to cheer on the girls running. Senior Grant Fullenkamp said, “I’m looking forward to cheering on the team, I hope we’ll do well.” The Beacon wishes the best to our Beavers heading to State!
