On November 8th, four wildfires in California broke out with what’s being called the Camp Fire becoming the deadliest and most destructive fire California has ever faced. A week after the fire started, authorities have now confirmed 77 deaths while more than 900 people have been deemed missing. The missing number could change, though, as some missing could be safe and just not accounted for quite yet. Other than causing terror to residents of California, the Camp Fire has nearly destroyed everything in its path with thousands of buildings and residences being demolished. Among the houses destroyed by the four fires was Miley Cyrus’s multi-million dollar home. On the other hand, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hired private firefighters to save their $60 million home. The California governor Jerry Brown said he fears these types of fires “will continue certainly in the next 10 to 15 years.” Unfortunately, the fire is roughly 45% secure while the other 65% continues it’s path of destruction, burning everything in its path in Southern California.
