We are now well into the school year as winter break is almost upon us; however, before we can forget about the first half of the year, we have some testing ahead of us. The next couple of weeks at BHS are filled with state standardized tests, standardized tests for colleges, and exams.

  • December 1st- SAT at BHS for students already signed up
  • December 3rd- Ohio State standardized testing or government AIR testing
  • December 8th- ACT at BHS for students already signed up
  • December 17th- December 20th- Exams the last four days before break: Monday (period 1&4) Tuesday (period 2&5) Wednesday (period 3&6) Thursday (period 7)

With the addition of the Best of the Beavers card and options to take CCP classes, you may be taking less exams which is a positive. Junior Kolbe Saylor who takes CCP classes and has a Best of the Beavers card said, “I’m glad I don’t have to take a lot of exams at the high school this year and am excited to get them over with before Christmas break.” Coming off of Thanksgiving break, it’s easy to slack off until winter break, but instead, you should be focused on trying your best on standardized tests and studying hard for the exams that could tank or save your semester grade so that you can relax during the holidays.
