Artist Feature- Reilly Powers

Kaci Watts, Student Journalist

This week’s artist feature is Reilly Powers. She is a sophomore artist in Mrs. Deen’s art two class. She is one of the many very talented art students her at BHS and has worked with several mediums in her art classes. She’s worked with color pencils, graphite, ink, oil based ink, acrylic paint, scratch board, and so much more! Reilly has been in art since 6th grade, but she had been creating even before then. Eventually her love for art grew to what it is now. She’s made several amazing pieces that have been featured in art shows and hung up in the halls at Ferguson and BHS! Reilly told me how she felt about art: “I love art. It calms me down and I just love creating art pieces.” Be sure to check out her work hanging up around BHS this year!
