Bowling GWOC Championships

Nicholas Brenner, Student Journalist

This weekend, March 8th and 9th, the Beavercreek High School bowling team will be competing in the GWOC state competition against 16 other other teams from around the state on Friday (girls) and Saturday (boys). Last year the boys’ team went to state and got 8th place overall while the girls’ team did not qualify. Beavercreek High school Senior and varsity bowler Daniel Khan says, “I’m really looking forward to state this weekend, I feel like we’ll do better than we did last year. I think we’ll get at least top 3.” The Beacon wishes luck to all bowlers as they compete this weekend at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl!
