Following the end of October, the winter sports season has arrived! This season introduces the boy’s basketball, girl’s basketball and wrestling teams. Many of these teams have games and meets soon. Over Thanksgiving break, do not miss the girl’s varsity/junior varsity basketball, boy’s varsity basketball, hockey, and bowling teams playing. Mr. Pompos, the director of athletics, says that Beavercreek High School’s student-athletes “have been diligently training in some cases the last nine months (since last season) in the weight room, on the track and in the gyms/on the courts.” The winter athletes have certainly put in the work to perform their best this season. When asked what games he recommends attending, Mr. Pompos states, “Attend them all. Our student-athletes have been working hard to prepare for the seasons and look forward to starting.” Show your school spirit and support Beavercreek High School’s winter athletes by attending all their games and meets this exciting season!
