Beavercreek High School’s track team showed strong performances at the GWOC meet this season, with several athletes achieving personal records and advancing to the next level of competition. Mrs. Rudy shared that the team performed “Overall decently well,” adding to that “we had multiple best times” during the meet. The GWOC competition gave athletes the opportunity to compete against some of the top Runners and field athletes in the conference. Many Beavercreek athletes improved their performances and continued preparing for the postseason. According to Mrs. Rudy, the next step for the team was regionals, which took place for this past Tuesday. Athletes who qualify at regionals will continue on to compete again next Thursday. Mrs. Rudy also explained that 13 Beavercreek athletes advanced to regionals and individual qualifiers, showing the team’s hard work and dedication throughout the season. With several athletes still competing, Beavercreek’s track season continues to build excitement as runners aim for successful performances at the regional level.
