Beavercreek’s women’s basketball team is working hard to prepare for their first game against Alter on November 29, 2025. This year, the girls are expecting to have a good season with improvements from last year, despite having younger players. The head varsity coach, Aric Seilhamer, stated, “I predict an improvement from last year’s record of 9-14. Our chemistry, energy, and effort has improved each and every day since the season started on Friday, October 24th…While we are considered a young team, we do return a number of players with experience from last year.” Mr. Seilhamer also mentioned how this improvement is evident in the team’s recent goal-setting. Beavercreek will certainly have plenty of competition and challenges to overcome this season due to its non-conference schedule and GWOC opponents. There are also multiple key players important for this year’s team. Aric Seilhamer stated, “Key Players for the upcoming season: Senior Lana Srbinvoski (our leader and only senior), junior Aubrey Hall, junior Lucy Zollars, and sophomore Cameron King.” These players above just may be this year’s secret to success. High expectations are set for these girls on and off the court, as stated by Mr. Seilhamer: “We expect all of our players to embody our T.E.A.M. core values on and off the court. They are: Be Thankful, Be Enthusiastic, Be Accountable, and have a Me 2nd Mentality. We want the community to be proud of them and how they carry themselves.” Go out to Alter on November 29th and support Beavercreek at 11:30 during their first game of the season!
