As the final week of school for seniors wraps up, they reflect on their time spent at BHS and reminisce about all of their favorite memories. They recall their most treasured moments and state what they are going to miss the most about Beavercreek High School while also offering advice to underclassmen. Thomas Mohn advised the underclassmen to: “Take advantage of the time you have in high school because, like I’m already almost in college. Just take advantage of having your family and friends.” While Sophia Bowden stated, “Try and get involved as much as you can, it’s really nice to get involved in all the clubs and sports that you can.” Similarly, Roman Wilboine mentioned, “Try new things, be comfortable with the uncomfortable, and try to experience things even though you may feel uncomfortable; you might learn something new.” While other seniors recommended to live in the present and work hard. Another senior, Emma Van Horn, shared a quote: “Today I’ll do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can do what others can’t.” Others also advised staying positive, going to school events, and making memories. Some of the seniors even shared what they are going to miss the most at Beavercreek High School. Emme Slater stated, “I’m going to miss the sense of community here because I would always be excited to come here even though I had a bunch of stuff to do.” While Ava Murray mentioned, “I’m going to miss the teachers and the friends I’ve made connections with, the hallways, and the memories.” Others also said that they were going to miss their friends, school events like football games, their teachers, and the community. Erin Cotter stated, “I’m going to miss the familiarity of the hallways and the people I see every day.” While others are going to miss other aspects of the school, like the food served at lunch. Brooklynn Tucker stated, “I’m going to miss the Bosco sticks the most.” As the seniors say farewell to Beavercreek High School and continue to their future, it is safe to say a part of BHS will always be a part of them. Although they are moving forward, the lessons they learned and memories they made at Beavercreek will help shape their futures forever.
